Me as Adrienne Marcus Raja

Neo: I know you're out there.. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules or controls, borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

Lazy Sunday.
01.30.05 (2:09 am)   [edit]
Today I woke up around 9 am so I missed church. Fiona and Davin woke up earlier to send Bryan to work at Crowne Riverside Hotel as he starts work at 8am and would be finished by 5pm later in the evening. This will be one of the days when everything will go slow but ironicly, time passes by fast.

It's around 7pm already and what have I done since I woke up this morning? Did some house cleaning and laundry. Afternoon nap for about 1 hour and bought 'pisang goreng' and 'popia' for tea break. It was delicious.

Watched a korean movie "Oh! Happy Day" which was entertaining. The 2 piece VCD movie costs me around RM 16.90. It was an affordable price for a good international movie. I usually get my Korean and Japanese movie stocks from Kenyalang Park Commmercial Center. A paradise for VCD lovers though one will have to buy originals so it will be more expensive a bit.

Tonight, Bryan is in the mood to have some Korean food for dinner. We will be eating at Seoul Garden which is located somewhere in 3rd Mile Commercial Centre and also is nearby to Red Tea Road. Oh ya, Fiona and Davin went to Red Tea when I was having my afternoon nap and they saw Cheryl, Anna, Mandy, Linda and another girl whom I think is new.. I missed out on good tea and company.

Ate steamed chicken rice for lunch which I shared half of the packet with BB. That dumb dog is getting fatter, heavier and smarter but still stupid at times. I'll get his picture online when I get my digital camera back.

Anyway, adios and HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL CELEBRATING!!!!!.. :D

Faith In God
01.26.05 (10:32 pm)   [edit]

I fear that my faith in the Lord is slowly disappearing.

Is it because I have become busy with daily commitments that I have forgotten my commitment to His words of life?

How is it can I save this relationship with God

For I until today has not commited my life to Him and his circle of brothers and sisters.

I can't find myself wanting to be saved and be born again

Adrienne.

Update 1: China - Shanghai
01.15.05 (10:49 pm)   [edit]

After arriving Pudong International Airport, we took the Maglev Train which I just found out from that trip that it only takes 8 minutes rather than a 40 minutes bus trip to the same destination which i forgotten the name of the place. Ha Ha. I think it is the Longyang Station or something. Anyway, having the speed of 430 km/hour is very fast. Yeah, talk about being fast and looking furious.

It was freezing cold. Took only a picture or two. On that whole day, the same word keep repeating in my mind.

"Why would anyone visit China in this cold winter weather? Aduh~ Dah lah I didn't bring any thick clothes, only a sweater that you can buy at hip-hop stores and t-shirts. Wah lau eh, sure will die of cold or freeze to death la. My goodness, this trip will sure be a long one. I miss the hot sun already."

One thing that attracts me though was that there is alot of good and interesting architectures and buildings while travelling on the road. I saw farm houses that has colorful tiles arranged diagonally and looked like anyaman tikar-la. Cool. Too bad I can't take pictures of these houses because the coach was travelling at a speed where my pictures comes out blurred.

Sadly, I had so many 'useless' pictures from the trip. Damn. So much for colorful China stories.

Oh yeah back to my story, we went to a place that is well known for their dumpling and people practically lined up for hours for the dumpling. My mum waited almost 40 minutes for a chance to taste the dumplings and guess what. She only bought a packet of 12. Me and my siblings were like, "WHAT? All this waiting for only a packet? Aduh!!"

Anyway, the food was okay and I especially like the lamb satay. It's totally different than the Malaysian satay. OK, I forgotten to take a picture of it because I was so hungry that taking photo was out of the way. And then we had lunch. Talking about food, I honestly gain more than 5 kilos from this trip. Did I regret it? Of course not. Ha Ha Ha.

Okay, i'll update again when I refer to the map of Shanghai. Oink Oink Bye Bye

I am back from China
01.03.05 (4:33 am)   [edit]

Just got back from Shanghai last friday night. It was a hectic 5 hours flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and another 2 hours flight from Kuching International Airport.

I have so many stories to share but I guess I'll have to rearrange them so that the stories could be told according to days that I spent in China.

DAY ONE

Me and my family left on the 23rd of December 2004 at around 8pm to KLIA and had to wait for our transit to Pudong International Airport, Shanghai at around 1am. At KLIA we met with our tour leader, Miss Mok and the rest of the tour group whom majority was from KL. There is 30 people including us in the tour.

The flight to Pudong International Airport, Shanghai was a 5 hours flight so we slept during most of the flight after the dinner on board. Watched some movies before falling to sleep. Arrived at around 6 am where we meet with our tour guide, Mr Tim Tang. He is from Su Zhou and is a university graduate in the department of foreign language. He can speak Chinese, English and Chinese. Being almost 26 years of age, he married university sweetheart and have a baby girl.

I'll try to update more about my trip soon with pictures if they come out right.

Take care.
