Me as Adrienne Marcus Raja

Neo: I know you're out there.. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules or controls, borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

Deepavali on 11th November 2004
11.11.04 (6:27 am)   [edit]
I woke up around 9am this morning with good mood to do some 'house-visiting'. I called Kavitha up to confirm when will be the appropriate time to visit her house and then I call Sheela. It was the confirmed that I would visit Sheela's house first at 12pm and then later to Kavitha house at 3pm. The whole journey was filled with laughter and jokes whiched I missed since I left Form 5 in 1999. Fiona followed me to get free lunch. ha ha ha

On the way to Sheela's house in Batu Kawa, I went to picked up Pamela. It seems that she does not celebrate Deepavali.. why? I didn't ask so don't ask me la. Anyway, Annabel was in 10th mile at that time and she has to find her own way to Batu Kawa la. Only today did I realised that Annabel no longer live in Batu Lintang since her father retired from Sesco almost 3 years ago.. you can see now why I miss so much of my form school life. Hearing all these stories and news from Pamela, I felt like a hermet lost for the last 5 years.

Anyway, when we reached Sheela house, she was dressed in green and as pretty as ever. She is doing very well in Universiti of Technology Malaysia (UTM) in Johor. I think she was offered by the uni to continue her Masters in civil engineering. way to go girl!! I enjoyed the mutton curry and the briyani rice. I enjoyed it so much I went for another helping. LOL

Her younger brother, Manosh grew up tall and good looking until Pamela and Fiona keep teasing each other and he was so shy and he noticed that this two girls older than him was sending false signals to him.. ha ha ha.. he was so shy about it that he stayed most of the time in the kitchen. Mind you, Pamela is 22, Fiona is 19 and I think Manosh is only 18 or 17. Ha Ha Ha

What caught my attention was the guy who is a friend of Sheela's neighbour. He was cute and maybe it was his attire appeal that attracts me.. WOW. I have to remind Sheela to get information about this mysterious guy from her brother. YUm YUM.. lol He drove a gold/brown proton...

After that the four of us (Me, Fiona, Annabel and Pamela) said our goodbyes and thank yous to Sheela and her parents and we left for Kavitha house. It was a long time since we last meet each other.. and she is still the cubby nice and wonderful girl i met in Rumah Merah in Form 1. Now a working woman, she is considered the most successful among the friends at the current moment because she can pay for herself now and is working. The rest of us are still studying and depending on our parent's money. I felt so pathetic la. Oh well...
and I had two more serving of Briyani rice, Mutton curry, chicken curry and roti canai at Kavitha's house.. yum yum but was so stuffed with food that I almost regretted eating so much.. Only once a year, nevermind la hoh.

Jaisation and Kailash is not celebrating Deepavali this year because they will celebrate for Christmas. Prabakaran won't be opening his house too I guess. So, on this coming sunday I will follow my sister to visit her friend, Sarasivan who is also Prabakaran's cousin.

To all my friends in KL or anywhere else. Happy Deepavali eh~~~especially to Ilaveni, Joan, Shamini, Pravathy, Shantini and Shamini twins, Vinod and Sashi. Have a good time opening your house...!!!!

Happy Deepavali!
